Photo Essay: More Scenes from Our Epic USA Road Trip

Have we really been on the road for over two weeks?

I couldn’t believe it when I looked at the calendar and realized how much time had flown since we landed in the US on July 20. And to think we’ve spent most of it behind the wheel in the USA!

Of course, again, that’s meant I’ve had to take a break from blogging. (Thank you to all of you for your patience and understanding!)

I’m now firmly on solid ground back at my family home in the Cleveland, Ohio area — with no plans to travel in the next couple of weeks. So expect me to be back this Friday with a fresh post for you all.

In the meantime, enjoy this dispatch of more scenes from our epic USA road trip!

Your campsite in Wisconsin looks great, so quiet and peaceful. It looks like you’re having a wonderful trip. I’m with Jun, I like kippered snacks. Best wishes to both of you.

I could go for a peaceful secluded campground. Minus the bugs, of course.

But my husband insists that we are “hotel people.” 🙂

Well, Autumn, after being on the road for a few weeks, I wouldn’t have minded being in a few hotels during the trip. Especially the one night we got drenched when trying to put up our tent. 😉

Thanks Mary! Well, the camping was fun…but there were definitely some tiring nights. Including a few when we had to put up our tent after dark in a strange campground. 😮

Aw, thank you so much for saying that, I am incredibly touched.

Well, there’s a possibility this won’t be the last time we hit the road. And if we do, I’ll be sure to let you know!
