We’re Moving (John and I, Not This Website)

As I write this, John and I have just finished moving things out of our apartment, and are getting ready to hit the road and move out of Idaho — back to Cleveland, Ohio, my hometown. Words cannot express the excitement I feel at this moment, that we finally will leave this place and start anew.

Here’s the good news:

  • John passed his dissertation defense this week, went very smoothly. All that remains is his internship year.
  • And speaking of the internship, John already found someone to work with him in the Cleveland area. Still working on the details, but should have it together before the end of the summer.

Since we’ll be on the road this week, and I’ve had WAY too many things going on, I won’t be able to post anything this Friday. My apologies. I should be back a week from today.

  7. Jocelyn,

This is what I’m talking about! I’m very happy that you and John agree on moving forward with your lives. It doesn’t matter where you move as long as you have each other.. This is what marriage is about.

  8. Can’t wait to meet up with you and John – Grumpy’s, here we come.
Give me a call after you both have settled.
Cleveland has changed a lot – whatever others have portraited us, well, it’s just an individual view. Cleveland Rocks!!

  9. Congrats on the success and welcome back. I’ll admit I’ve been too self involved of late so I’m now learning of your change in geography. I welcome any chance to reconnect and help you network back in your hometown. Again, welcome back and good job, John.
