While I’m still on the mend (my voice is starting to come back — woo-hoo!) and taking some time off from writing to rest and recover, I thought I’d announce a few new additions to the Chinese version of Speaking of China.
First, we’ve translated four new pages into Chinese:
Additionally, I just published a new post calling on Chinese readers to lend us a hand with the site — from volunteering to translate posts to just spreading the word about this blog. Expect more translations to be published in the coming weeks!
If you have any ideas for expanding the Chinese content on this site, as always you can contact us (or 联系我们)!
Thanks for reading!
It never hurts to try and tap more into the Chinese market and reach more audiences! Maybe it can further promote cross-cultural understanding, which is so important for mixed couples and families.
It would be really interesting to have to move posts from the Chinese perspective, maybe written in Chinese and translated into English? For example, guests posts or interviews of local Chinese men who are dating or married to western women. Or posts from other Asian males. Just an idea!
Thanks for the suggestion R Zhao (you always offer some great ideas!). I would love to have more posts from Chinese men married or dating Western women. Hearing from more Asian men would also be fantastic!
This is a fantastic idea, and I’m all for it! I think it will open up the discussion with people from more diverse backgrounds. I wonder… Is there a way to make the comments translated automatically?
Pleasure always! BAP Blog.
